Our Story
Our story is rooted in reality. We started with jokes and late-night texts, but the true strength of our partnership showed when he helped me through my darkest days.
We’ve learned that our mix of caution and chaos is a great balance when facing life's heaviest trials. We’ve chosen to stand by each other through it all, and now it’s time to celebrate the good days ahead, right down the street with our favorite people.
When & Where
We are so excited to celebrate with you on September 18th 2027!
We will be tying the knot at the Indigo Chapel (211 Lafayette Ave, Buffalo, NY 14213). The venue is perfectly situated right on the corner of Lafayette Avenue and Grant Street.
Fun Facts About Our Venue
We wanted a space that felt a little "out there" and unique, and we definitely found it! Here are a few fun things to know about where we’ll be celebrating:
- An Artistic History: Before it was an event space, our venue was known as "The Tabernacle". It was originally created as an incredible art environment by the artist Jeremy Twiss.
- From Bar to Chapel: It officially opened to the public as a bar and restaurant in April of 2018, and has since evolved into the beautiful event space it is today.
- Built for a Party: The space features 2 balconies, plus a stage, and active sound so a band or DJ setup is very easy.
- An Intimate Gathering: To preserve the unique, historic nature of the building, our venue has a strict capacity of just 99 guests. That means every single person joining us is incredibly special to us!

4:30 PM | The Ceremony
The Main Event.
We will be keeping it short, sweet, and full of love. Please arrive a few minutes early to grab a seat!
5:00 PM | Cocktails & Reception
Drinks, dinner, and dancing.
Immediately following the ceremony, the space will transition into a party. Get ready for great food, an open bar, and hitting the dance floor.
10:00 PM | The After-Party
The celebration continues.
For those who just aren't ready to go home, we will be keeping the party going late into the night!

Getting Around
Our venue is located right on the corner of Lafayette Ave and Grant St. If you are staying at the hotel or plan on celebrating with a few drinks, we highly recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft to get to and from the venue safely.
Parking
If you are planning to drive, there is a Public Parking lot located at 186 Grant Street, directly across from the 7-Eleven. Additionally, there is an abundance of parking available on the nearby side streets.

What is the dress code?
Come as you are! Because we are having a non-traditional ceremony, there is no formal dress code. Since our venue is a unique, historic art space, we want you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, colorful, and ready to dance the night away in!
Can I bring a plus-one or my children?
In order to keep things intimate and preserve the historic nature of our venue, we have a very strict maximum capacity of 99 guests. Because of this, we can only accommodate those explicitly named on your formal invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!
Is the venue accessible?
Yes! Everything is street level with no steps, and there is an accessible ground floor bathroom.
